Authentic Details for Design and Restoration

After three decades of field research, Peter Joel Harrison has authored seven studies in four volumes on historic American landscape details. Unlike anything available, Harrison’s pattern books reveal unknown or lost examples from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries gathered from all regions of the nation.
Each volume is handsomely bound and stamped with gold foil and holds cream-colored papers, period type faces, and marbleized end sheets. Original draughts fashioned after copper plate engravings further enhance the character of these works. Presenting a total of 1,100 images, this vast collection offers private homeowners, historic preservationists, and landscape architects a rich resource to be imitated or used
for inspiration.
